Sofia Tania is a lead software developer at Thoughtworks, specializing in pragmatic application of engineering practices, including test-driven development, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and evolutionary architecture. Her current primary interests are in building intelligent real-time systems with machine learning and data engineering practices.

At Thoughtworks, while based in Singapore and New York, Tania has engaged in numerous commercial projects, in global retail banking, government & civil service, and in global fashion retail. She has built systems using Ruby, Java, Scala, Clojure, R, Rails, Play for Scala, Sinatra, Cucumber, Spark, neo4j, Kafka and many more.
